Oulu, Finland, played a pivotal role in hosting our latest UNICORN consortium meeting. Despite its distance from central Europe, Oulu is home to three of our project partners—TactoTek, VTT, and New Cable Corporation—making it an important hub for advancing our mission in circular functional electronics.
As the UNICORN project enters its final year, defining priorities and aligning on objectives has become critical. The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress on the demonstrators across the four industrial use cases and to explore circular business model approaches. These discussions are vital to shaping the project’s exploitation strategy and ensuring impactful, sustainable outcomes that will drive circularity in automotive electronics.
